West Elm Feature!

I’m over at West Elm’s ‘Front & Main‘ Blog today, with a look into my updated studio and a chat about my ‘Spaces’ column.

So much has changed since the last time I shared! If you’re anything like me, I’m always looking for new ways to be inspired by my workspace, so I’m constantly making little changes. My newest change is my desk! At the start of the year, I decided I wanted something new. My little white desks where a great option, but they where cheap, light, tiny and white. White is great, but I use ink, paint and making messes often, so they where always a mess. I also decided I wanted a larger area to work for the same reason, I needed more room to make a mess. So in an attempt to save a little money and recycle the legs of my Ikea desks (after a coat or two of spray paint), I bought some planks from Lowe’s and with the helping hands of my husband and mother-in-law and made a new desk! I followed a couple various tutorials I found around the internet and made what I wanted.

Head over to Front & Main for a closer look into my workspace and the ‘Spaces’ column!

A huge thank you to Kayla Adams for shooting my studio!

I’m loving the blue glass jars. Did you purchase the 2 quart jars and paint them yourself? The lids are super cool too. I couldn’t help but notice the two by the printer! You are a very talented lady. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work space!!
