Giveaway : InstaThis

January 30, 2013

I’m all about having Instagram photos printed. These little memories shouldn’t just live on our phones, we should live with them everyday. Well, get excited, because I’ve teamed up with InstaThis to giveaway one of their beautiful 12″x12″ wood prints! I decided to have one of my Instagrams from our trip to Hawaii this past fall, printed. I thought it would look killer on wood and I was blown away by the end result!

The print is gorgeous — you even get a little detail of the wood grain that shows through the image. Plus, InstaThis makes is super easy to hang with a slot in the back, they even send along a screw. I opted to lean my print amongst some other prints in my studio, because I’m always moving things around. This way, I can always have it exactly where I want it.

*Leave a comment below about how a wood print of your favorite Instagram would make a perfect edition to your home / studio. I’ll announce a winner a week from today – February 6th (giveaway closes Tuesday at Midnight).

Be sure to check them out — they even print on Acryllic and in different sizes, so you can create an Instagram gallery in your own home!

+ Thanks InstaThis!

Giveaway closed!

The random winner is — Laura Coggins!

Thanks everyone for playing!

Oooh, one of these would be absolutely perfect for my apartment! My boyfriend and I have been dying to decorate with some art work but just haven’t had the time to go searching for what we really love.. Therefore, I’m seriously hoping to win this! 🙂

That looks amazing! I’m moving soon to somewhere where I will be able to have some desk space (rather than working from my coffee table!) so this would make a great piece of inspiring art to decorate it!

Eva your print looks lovely! I didn’t even know that it was possible to print on wood 🙂 We have a wall in our apartment that I would like to fill with art. However currently there is only one item there – a beautiful drawing on wood actually! – and a print like this would make for the perfect second item on our wall. So I’m crossing my fingers here: thanks for the giveaway!

BTW I love the black and white picture you chose. It looks so pretty in print and mixed with some of your other pieces of art 🙂

The wood print is beautiful! I would love to give one as a gift to my roommates when we graduate this spring, or it would be perfect to hang in our house in the meantime! The only hard part would be choosing which photo to have printed 🙂

there’s a little wall opposite the front door, between my stairwell and a hallway to the guest bath that is begging for something this size. i snapped a photo while i was walking downtown san francisco this summer of a street-corner preacher with a neon yellow sign that read “jesus loves you”… against the black and white buildings… on a drizzly rainy morning… it’s my favorite gram of all two thousand something i’ve taken.

My favourite Instagram right now is a self-portait of me and my newly-wed hubby on our mini-moon we took in NYC this past fall. We’d both been to NYC many times but the city seemed so fresh and fun to us this trip. I’m sure it was due to being in a post-nuptial daze but we had the most relaxing and amazing time. A wood print of this would be great in our office and serve as the nicest reminder of one of the nicest times in our lives. Thanks!!

I would love to have an instagram of mine as a wood print. I’m always looking for colorful pieces to liven up the white walls of my room. It would be great if it could be my own.

i am such a perfectionist when it comes to my photography, so lately i have been sharing more “true life” photos on instagram and losing the inner perfectionist because the moments are too awesome to not document. i would love to add a print to my office as inspiration to lose the drive to be perfect and to embrace the moments…

This is so rad! I love the wood option. Not sure which shot I would want printed for the house. But, I think it would be a great addition to any home. Since I love shooting images on instagram, this is a perfect way to print them for daily viewing. Thanks for the introduction to the company.

Oh this idea of how to print an IG is awesome!! I love the thought of having it printed on wood! I love all things wood. I think I would choose a photo of friends and I on one of our many outings in our last semester… we are all graduating and this would be a really great picture to have displayed where ever I move to (since we are all dispersing upon graduation).

My wife and I were just looking into options of printing an instagram photo. We had our first child two weeks ago – Eden Jean. For her grandmother’s birthday (Her Jjajja, we say, because that’s what they call grandparents in Uganda and my parents’ first granddaughter is Ugandan 😉 we wanted to print a photo we had taken of her when she was a day old. This would be such a wonderful gift to have it look so beautiful and presented to my mother-in-law!

This piece would be great for my home to BRING US TOGETHER. I would love to have “a little piece of him” in my home 🙂 I would use a photo of where we spend our most time together. Surfers Paradise! The medium that is used it our “style” and would fit perfectly into the home we are slowly developing together. xo Please help me make my house part of us both!

I have no idea who is eligible for this but I’m going to give it a try just in case! My fiance & I are getting married in July. My grandma passed away last spring & we will be living in the house she used to live in. My grandma was an amazing artist and an extremely creative woman. Your giveaway reminds me so much of something she would have had hanging in her house! I would love to hang a remarkable piece of art in my house such as this! Very cool idea, would love to use a picture from instagram of her and I. -Kiele Modawell

I love the idea of using unexpected materials for very common things. I’ve been meaning to get photos printed on a variety of materials and wood is one that I haven’t thought of. Most of the pictures and art work that I have sit in wooden frames. It would be beautiful to have one or two pieces in this mix that are printed directly on wood to hang up.

My office and living room are one at the moment, so a print of one of my favorite instagram shots would be a great way have a lovely memory close by!
